Training for Client Service Directors & Nurse Managers
Training Description:
Following a 4-day intensive Patient Platform Training, the 10-week implementation period begins. The Executive is responsible for managing the entire implementation process, but each department leader will have specific responsibilities each week.
- Staff are guided through the implementation process using weekly Implementation Checklists (see example), with each checklist building on the previous week's tasks.
- Bi-weekly Q&A sessions with the Patient Services Master Coach will help to answer questions and provide further direction during the implementation process.
- Toward the end of the 10-week period, a launch date will be set for the new OT System to "Go Live" and for all staff and volunteers to begin using the 15-Step Service Process.
- The Patient Services Master Coach will be available throughout the implementation phase, as well as once the PRC launches the full OT System.
Typically, a PRC that follows the Implementation Checklists, and maintains compliance with the complete OT System, will begin seeing results (i.e. an increase in at-risk women choosing to have their babies) in just four to six months.
What Other Directors and Nurse Managers Are Saying About CompassCare
“Prior to [implementing OT], even though we did ultrasounds, we did not actually attract as many abortion-minded women as we expected. After starting OT, our stats dramatically improved. The steps were gradual, but results were dramatic as we kept making monthly changes according to OT. It generated real excitement among staff to see how many abortion-minded women we were attracting.”
- Eve Estes, Nurse Manager, Pregnancy Help Center of Lakeland (Lakeland, FL)
“Before OT training, we knew there were many abortion minded women in our community that we were not reaching. After OT Training, we went to 98% of our patients being abortion-vulnerable or abortion-minded. We were reaching the right patients! Our percentage of positive pregnancy tests also went way up to over 60%! We are reaching the right women, at the right time – they’re pregnant and at risk for abortion.”
- Chris Schlesiger, Patient Resources Director, AAA Center for Pregnancy Counseling (Omaha, NE)
“It has been a challenging journey for me personally to learn this process since I have been with this organization for many years. However, once I understood the significance of the system and how to manage its parts I could embrace it with enthusiasm.”
- Debra Keal, Patient Resources Director, Network Medical (Santa Barbara, CA)
